About Crown

Reducing Risk For The Life Cycle of Your Information

In todays’ world compliance is critical to running a business. Crown Information Management goes through several audits a year to guarantee our compliance is maintained to the highest standards of our industry. We’re i-SIGMA, NAID AAA certified, as well as PCI certified, and have a SOC 1 report available for our clients. Contact us if you ever have a question regarding compliance. We’re always here for you.

As you may already know, Crown Information Management is an i-SIGMA NAID certified company, undergoing bi-annual and random audits, conducted by Certified Protection Professional (CPP) auditors.  With today’s ever changing laws and confusing compliance requirements, clients need someone who is vigilant at monitoring regulations and putting secure protocols and procedures in place. These procedures and protocols must be continually reviewed, monitored and adapted to meet the current requirements of our clients and the laws governing their services.

We are also PCI self-certified annually, which means we have standards, policies and procedures in place to protect credit card information. In 2015 Crown Information Management undertook the SSAE-16, SOC 1 audit and has done so every other year since.  Our sole focus on records and information management has enabled us to make concentrated investments in information security and data protection systems that meet or exceed industry best practices for safeguarding paper and electronic records.

Crown Information Management has always been and will continue to be partners with our clients & community. We volunteer resources, manpower and time to many programs already in place such as Toys for Tots, Catholic Charities, Make A Wish Foundation, The Lions Club, and various youth programs. We sponsor events, and our staff participates in their personal choices of community projects, which includes teaching youth groups, planting trees, working at shelters and participating in athletic events, like 5K runs, to support a cause they are passionate about.

We feel our responsibilities also extend into preserving our natural resources.  Working with the Arbor Day Foundation and the Division of Forestry, Crown Information Management is a partner in the green initiative. Crown Information Management provides needed funds to reforest, planting over 365 new trees per year.   We not only recycle 100% of our paper product, we recycle electronic equipment as well, to keep as much product out of the landfills as possible.

At Crown Information Management, we recognize the value of partnering with our clients. We live, work and play in your same community. We appreciate your business, and will continue to provide you with outstanding service and security. Our commitment to your success, helps us achieve ours.

PCI Compliance

Compliance simply means that your business meets the requirements established by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council. The council is run by the five major credit card companies – Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and JCB International – and is responsible for enforcing the PCI Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). In order to be in compliance, you must meet these standards.

Crown Information Management is a level 4 company. This level is for small businesses processing less than 20,000 eCommerce transactions and less than 1 million other transactions each year. Level 4 businesses are required to complete an annual risk assessment using the appropriate PCI Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ). The results of the questionnaire are the certificate posted on this website.
